Il quintetto di origine perlopiù friulana è artefice di un sound dalle forti tensioni strumentali: lunghe suite caratterizzate da dinamiche progressioni e sonorità jazz-rock a tinte psichedeliche di matrice settantiana, col notevole motore ritmico di Alessandro Marsutti (batteria), basso e chitarre alternate da parte di Giuseppe Calcagno e Andrea Faidutti, e in particolare il sax alto di Clarissa Durizzotto e il Farfisa, Nord Lead, Moog e trombone di Mirko Cisilino.

The quintet from Friuli (noth-east Italy) plays a sound with strong instrumental tensions: long suites featuring dynamic progression and magmatic psychedelic jazz-rock, with the remarkable rhythm engine of Alessandro Marsutti (drums), the alternating bass and guitars of Giuseppe Calcagno and Andrea Faidutti, and in particular the alto sax by Clarissa Durizzotto and the Farfisa, Nord Lead, Moog and trombone by Mirko Cisilino.

BIOGRAFIA
Parco Lambro è un quintetto formatosi nel 2014 in uno scantinato bolognese.
Inizialmente i brani nascono da lunghe improvvisazioni con un sound che si rifà a gruppi come Area e Soft Machine. Tuttavia PL continua a sperimentare con suoni elettronici, armonie jazz, ritmi punk e canzoni. Il risultato è una musica ibrida e ricca di riferimenti, che non vuole farsi etichettare.
Nel gennaio 2016 viene registrato il primo disco – pubblicato a luglio per Music Force e Toks Records – dal titolo Parco Lambro. Questo lavoro discografico riassume il percorso musicale svolto dalla band nei suoi primi due anni di attività.
I concerti del Parco Lambro trasportano l’ascoltatore in un altrove estatico e al tempo stesso attuale, avvolgendolo e travolgendolo in un mare di suoni domati con maestria dai musicisti della band.
Nel 2015 ha partecipato allo stoner festival Pietrasonica, nel 2016 a Tarcento Jazz, nel 2017 ad Aeson – Arti nella natura.

BIOGRAPHY
Parco Lambro was born in a damp basement in Bologna in 2014.
Their first songs arise from long jam sessions and their sound is mostly inspired by the progressive rock godfathers Area and Soft Machine. But PL loves experimenting with electronic sounds, jazz harmony, punk grooves and songs. The result is a hybrid music, with many references, that refuses to be branded.
In January 2016 they recorded their first album – Parco Lambro, published in july by Music Force and Toks Records. This record summarizes the musical journey the band went through during their first two years of life.
Parco Lambro’s concerts carry their audience to an ecstatic but present elsewhere, swathing and overwhelming their listeners in a sea of sounds, masterfully tamed by these five musicians.
In 2015 PL played at the Pietrasonica Stoner Festival, in 2016 at Tarcento Jazz Festival and in 2017 at Aeson – Arti nella natura.
