Dopo l’omonimo primo album (2013) che celebrava gli AURORA LUNARE degli anni 70, e l’interlocutorio “Translunaggio” (che omaggiava importanti band progressive), la band livornese ritorna con “Terzo Luogo”: sette brani totalmente nuovi, che racchiudono la magia di un passato (nitidi gli echi dello storico progressive italiano) che ha saputo rinnovarsi brillantemente, con sorprendente freschezza !!!
“Terzo luogo come una via di mezzo tra la vita e la morte, il perdono e la dannazione, l’inferno e il paradiso, l’umano e il divino, come un “terzo occhio” capace di leggere nel subconscio. Non un compromesso, ma un percorso che s’inerpica tra gli interrogativi esistenziali e la sofferta speranza di redenzione con riferimenti letterari (dal canto IX del Purgatorio, all’esoterismo simbolico di stampo D’Annunziano), mitologici ed astronomici.In sociologia oggi si parla di terzo luogo (Third Place) come alternativa in equilibrio tra il posto dove si lavora e quello dove si dimora abitualmente, riferendosi quindi ad un ambiente in cui ritrovarsi con gli altri e stare a proprio agio (allora pure un centro commerciale, un bar, una piazza, i social o …il metaverso?!).
Sono trascorsi 10 anni dal nostro primo CD, interrotti dalla parentesi a metà strada dell’album tributo ad alcuni autori e musicisti del mondo progressive (Translunaggio). In effetti alcuni brani di quest’opera inedita risalgono come composizione a quel periodo mentre altri sono stati scritti più di recente, tra cui la traccia finale che è anche l’ultima in ordine di creazione.
In tutti i casi, alla fine, ce l’abbiamo fatta e l’indomito spirito del prog ha prevalso ancora una volta”.AURORA LUNARE:

After the homonymous first album (2013) which celebrated AURORA LUNARE of the 70s, and the interlocutory “Translunaggio” (which paid homage to important progressive bands), the band from Livorno returns with “Terzo Luogo”: seven totally new songs, which contain the magic of a past (clear echoes of the historic Italian progressive) that has been able to renew itself brilliantly, with surprising freshness!!!

“Terzo luogo” (Third place) as a middle ground between life and death, forgiveness and damnation, hell and heaven, the human and the divine, like a “third eye” capable of reading the subconscious.Not a compromise, but a path that climbs between existential questions and the painful hope of redemption with literary references (from Canto IX of Purgatory, to the symbolic esotericism of D’Annunziano), mythological and astronomical.
In sociology today we talk about the Third Place as an alternative in balance between the place where one works and the one where one usually lives, therefore referring to an environment in which one can meet with others and feel at ease (then also a center commercial, a bar, a square, social media or … the metaverse?!).

10 years have passed since our first CD, interrupted by the halfway parenthesis of the tribute album to some authors and musicians from the progressive world (Translunaggio). In fact, some pieces of this unpublished work date back as compositions to that period while others were written more recently, including the final track which is also the last in order of creation.

In any case, in the end, we made it and the indomitable spirit of prog prevailed once again”.
