Dalla nuova florida fucina progressive rock toscana i TRAUMA FORWARD, progetto che ruota intorno a Davide Lucioli (tastiere, voce) e Jacopo Bucciantini (batteria, voce), coadiuvati da Francesco Zuppello (chitarra) e Michael De Palma (basso), collocabili in un affascinante crocevia ispirativo dai rimandi sia classico-sinfonici  sia moderni.

“Scars” è un concept album, viaggio immaginifico su coordinate per lo più strumentali, ricco di atmosfere e suggestioni ambientali (persino gotiche nell’iniziale “Into the labyrinth”), tra incursioni poliritmiche e momenti dal respiro estatico come nelle delicate melodie di “Red Shadow” e “Waiting’s four seasons”.

Espressività variegata, evocativamente poetica.

TRAUMA FORWARD è progressive rock che guarda avanti con tratti anche innovativi, senza dimenticare la lezione e l’immaginario dei grandi nomi del passato.

From the new flourishing progressive rock forge in Tuscany, TRAUMA FORWARD, a project that revolves around Davide Lucioli (keyboards, voice) and Jacopo Bucciantini (drums, voice), assisted by Francesco Zuppello (guitar) and Michael De Palma (bass). A fascinating crossroads inspired by classic-symphonic and modern remarks.

“Scars” is a concept album, imaginary journey on mostly instrumental coordinates, full of atmospheres and ambient suggestions (even gothic in “Into the Labyrinth”), between polyrhythmic incursions and moments of ecstatic breathing as in the delicate melodies of “Red Shadow ” and “Waiting’s four seasons”.

Variable, evocatively poetic expression.
